A family home renovation in Belvedere, Knysna,  that merges the site's historical structure with a new structure by introducing a transitional passage defined by large glass sliding doors on either side. This passage acts as a clear threshold between the existing and new architecture while also softening that boundary. Through transparency and permeability, the transition blurs the lines between these spaces, reinforcing the intention that they remain connected.
